Our Community

The Eritrean Muslim Association of North America (EMANA) is a faith-centered Eritrean Muslim community based in Seattle and the surrounding areas. United by Islam, family values, and service, EMANA exists to provide a place where individuals and families can belong, connect, and grow together.

Rooted in Islamic teachings and strengthened through unity, our community is built on mutual respect, compassion, and shared responsibility. EMANA serves as a gathering point for faith, culture, and community life—bringing people together in a dignified and welcoming environment.

Rooted in Faith, Strengthened by Unity, Guided by Service

At the heart of EMANA is a commitment to Islamic values and collective well-being. Our community is grounded in faith and nurtured through shared worship, remembrance, and meaningful gatherings. We strive to create an environment where members feel spiritually supported and socially connected.

Through prayer, community events, cultural gatherings, and educational programs, EMANA helps strengthen bonds between families and individuals while supporting one another in both faith and daily life. Our community provides a space to preserve Eritrean Muslim identity while fostering unity and positive engagement across generations.

Community membership is intended for Eritrean Muslims, while many events and programs are open to the broader public. We welcome guests with respect and hospitality, encouraging understanding and connection within the wider community.
