EMANA-NW (Eritrean Muslim Association of North America – Northwest) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 45-5384933) dedicated to serving Muslim families and individuals throughout the Seattle metropolitan area and surrounding communities across the Pacific Northwest.

Founded to meet the evolving needs of a growing community, EMANA-NW exists to provide a unified, organized, and values-driven framework rooted in Islamic principles, service, and collective responsibility. The organization was established with the understanding that strong communities are built through faith, cooperation, and sustained commitment to the common good.

Our Foundation and Purpose

EMANA-NW was formed in response to the increasing social, spiritual, and organizational needs of Muslim families in the region.
